For many years I have tried to follow Dr. Steven R. Gundry’s way of eating. I have by no means been perfect at it, not even close, but much closer than someone who eats the standard American diet.
For the most part, I feel great when I eat the Gundry way. The times I don’t feel great and have my questions are when I am in an intense exercise program (weeks or months long). Resolving this issue is important to me because one of my happy places is intense exercise. I love lifting, HIITing, running, hiking, etc. until I can’t anymore. I also want to find the balance of sustainability and healthspan and lifespan maximization. I don’t live in a vacuum but I do want to do my best, not make excuses.
Below is how I will eat during the month of February. I will track my food intake and time restricted feeding daily. (This is different than the Gundry way. Not massively different, but it is different.)
